Klaus von Wysocki

Klaus von Wysocki (born August 12, 1925 in Solingen ; † September 10, 2012 in Berlin ) was a German economist .

Life

During the Second World War , Klaus von Wysocki was first drafted into the Reich Labor Service and then into the Wehrmacht . After returning from captivity , he studied in Münster and received his doctorate in 1955 . In 1960 he completed his habilitation in business administration and in 1962 received a professorship at the Free University of Berlin . In 1966 he became professor for auditing and fiduciary services at the University of Mannheim ; In 1972 he accepted an appointment at the University of Munich , where he taught until his retirement in 1993.

Klaus von Wysocki published almost 300 scientific articles on general business administration, accounting and auditing. In 1987/88 he was chairman of the Association of University Lecturers for Business Administration .

The University of Mannheim awarded him an honorary doctorate in 1999 . Since 2000 von Wysocki was honorary professor at the University of Vienna .

Klaus von Wysocki died in Berlin in September 2012 at the age of 87. A requiem with the laying out of the deceased took place on September 21, 2012 in the Heilig-Geist-Kirche in Berlin-Westend . The burial took place in the nearby state-owned cemetery Heerstraße .
