Andreas Per Kleerup (born April 2, 1979 ) is a Swedish pop musician and music producer .

Kleerup is a member of the Meatboys trio and the sextet Me and My Army . He became known in 2007 when he released the track With Every Heartbeat together with the Swedish singer Robyn . After the song hit the Swedish charts, it was also released in the UK, where it was hugely successful, reaching number 1 in August . The song was also successful in other European countries such as France, Germany and Italy.

For his debut album Kleerup he recorded other tracks together with well-known Swedish singers such as Neneh Cherry , Marit Bergman , Lykke Li and Lisa Milberg from the Concretes . The pre-released Longing for Lullabies together with Titiyo became a top 10 hit in Sweden, the album made it to number 7 on the Swedish album charts in 2008.

In 2010 Kleerup founded the sextet Me and My Army together with musicians from other well-known Swedish bands . It stands for melodic pop - or folk rock . MAMA, as they are shortened, released an EP of the same name in autumn 2010 and a full album in February 2011. Announcements to bring US rocker Tommy Lee on board for a joint single did not come true.

Andreas Kleerup also made a name for himself as the producer and co-author of the song Lay Me Down by Cyndi Lauper .

Kleerup appeared in the first semifinals of the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö as a break filler.
