Linda Sundblad
Linda Sundblad (born July 5, 1981 in Lidköping ) is a Swedish singer .
Life
Linda Sundblad left school at the age of 15 to join the band Lambretta . After three albums together, she left the group in autumn 2005 and began a solo career. She made her debut in 2006, and in September of the same year her first single Oh Father was released , which became a number one hit in Sweden and was nominated for the Grammys .
Since mid-2005 she has been working as a model for L'Oreal and Munthe plus Simonsen, among others.
On September 28, 2007, their first single Oh Father was released in Germany , Austria and Switzerland . Linda Sundblad was hired a year later, on July 28, 2008, as the presenter of the station Sveriges Radio for the program P3 Star. She sang twice for Swedish house DJ Rasmus Faber: on the single "Everything Is Alright", which was released on November 22, 2008, and on the single "Always", which was released on April 26, 2009. The songs are part of Rasmus Faber's debut album "Where We Belong".
Melodifestivalen 2011
Linda Sundblad took part in Melodifestivalen 2011, the Swedish selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. She competed in the third semifinal on February 19, 2011 in the Cloetta Center, Linköping, with the song "Lucky You", took sixth place and could not qualify for the final.
