Hidenori Isa
Hidenori Isa ( Japanese 井 佐 英 徳 , Isa Hidenori ; born July 30, 1976 in Ojiya ) is a former Japanese biathlete .
Hidenori Isa has been practicing biathlon since 1988. As is usual with biathletes in Japan, he starts for the "winter combat training unit" of the ground self-defense forces . The married sports soldier has a son.
Isa made his debut in the Biathlon World Cup 2000 in an individual (62nd) in Hochfilzen . In his first season he also competed for the first time at the biathlon world championships . In Pokljuka his best placings were an eleventh place in the relay and a 37th place in the sprint. In the next few years he started at all major international events. The best place at a World Cup should be a 25th place in the pursuit of Hochfilzen 2005.
Isa collected his first World Cup points in 2002 as Sprint-16. in Oberhof . The 2001/02 season was thus his best, in the overall World Cup he was 46th at the end of the season. The climax should be the Olympic Winter Games of the year in Salt Lake City , but Isa did not achieve good placements here. In the following season he did not manage to get a World Cup point. But since 2003/04 he was able to achieve World Cup points in every season until 2006/07. In 2006 Isa started again at the Olympic Games . The best result at the Turin Games was a 37th place in the pursuit and a twelfth place with the relay. In the 2009/2010 season , Hidenori Isa reached the top ten in the World Cup for the first time in the sprint in Pokljuka with rank 10. He took part in the 2010 Winter Olympics. Isa's best result was 68th in the sprint.
