The Kleine Wukensee is a natural body of water in the urban area of Biesenthal in the Brandenburg district of Barnim . It is located about three kilometers from the city center on the north-western edge of the city's settlement area, near the western border from Biesenthal to the Prenden district of the Wandlitz community .
The Kleine Wukensee has an area of 6.4 hectares. The water surface of the lake is about 40.4 meters above sea level . The depth of the water is 5.5 meters at its deepest point, the visibility is around 4.5 meters. The lake is almost completely surrounded by forest. In the southeast the Uhlandstraße or Akazienallee leads past the Kleiner Wukensee, it leads over the isthmus to the Großer Wukensee . On the south-east bank of the Kleiner Wukensee there is a bathing area, where from 1983 there was a bathing beach with jetties , bathing house , toilets and lifeguard station. Only remnants of the footbridge have survived from the lido buildings.
To the northeast of the Kleiner Wukensee is the 8.6 hectare NSG Rabenluch .
