Klement Aringer

Klement Aringer (* 1951 in Fridolfing ) is a German geodesist . From November 1, 2008 to March 31, 2017 he was President of the State Office for Digitization, Broadband and Surveying in Munich (former State Office for Surveying and Geoinformation or, before that, Bavarian State Surveying Office).

biography

From 1970 he studied surveying technology at the Munich University of Applied Sciences and then from 1973 surveying at the Technical University of Munich . Between 1978 and 1980 he completed the preparatory service for the higher surveying administration service and the higher land consolidation service. In 1984 he received his doctorate. The topic of his dissertation was: "Main geodetic tasks on surfaces in Cartesian coordinates"

From 1984 to 1987 he was at the Bad Tölz land surveying office . Between 1987 and 1990 he was a consultant in the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance - Surveying Department - in the department for budget, personnel and organization.

He then headed the Passau surveying office until 1992 . He was then until 1995 technical assistant and representative of the department head at the district finance office in Landshut (today's regional department East of the state office for digitization, broadband and surveying ). From 1995 to 2008 he headed various departments at the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance . On November 1, 2008, he succeeded Günther Nagel as President of the State Office for Surveying and Geoinformation in Munich . Since January 1, 2014, the authority has been called the State Office for Digitization, Broadband and Surveying .
