Klinkheide is a district of Kohlscheid , city of Herzogenrath , in the Aachen city region in North Rhine-Westphalia .

location

Klinkheide borders directly on Kohlscheid in the north and has therefore grown together. To the east of the village, the Wurm flows past Klinkheide. Neighboring districts (named after field names) are Pannesheide in the west and Pesch in the north.

General

Originally, Klinkheide was a rural village and essentially consisted of today's streets Klinkheider Strasse, Schulstrasse and Bendstrasse. After the Second World War , Klinkheide was considerably enlarged by new development areas and eventually grew together with Kohlscheid in the south.

Klinheide has a community primary school.
