The toilet skirt ( Norwegian toilet , claw ' ; in Chile Roca Le Cerf for Hirsch rock ; in Argentina Islote Sudoeste for Southeast Island ) is a surf pillars in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located in the Mikkelsen Harbor on Trinity Island .
The name probably goes back to the Norwegian whaling captain Hans Engelbert Borge (1873-1946), who surveyed the Mikkelsen Harbor between 1914 and 1915. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee transferred the Norwegian name to its present form in 1960.
