The cleft joint cave is located on the eastern slope of the Kugelstein, south of Kugelsteinhöhle I and Kugelsteinhöhle II . The access to the cave is clearly recognizable by the attached cadastral number.
description
The cleft joint cave consists of a single space connected to a cleft , which is 6 meters long, 4 meters high and 3 meters wide. In the cave ceiling there is a window through which daylight can enter the cave. Traces of excavations can be seen in the entrance area, which go back to an excavation by the Joanneum .
The cave floor consists of cave clay with fine sandy deposits.
