The Knobble Head ( English for Knubbeliger Kopf ) is a striking rock formation that forms the eastern extension of Bransfield Island in the Joinville Islands group off the northern end of the Antarctic Peninsula .
Scientists from the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey named them descriptively in the course of surveys they carried out between 1960 and 1961.
