The swamp sapling ( Hygrocybe helobia , syn .: Hygrocybe mollis Berk. & Br. Ss . Moser, Hygrocybe miniatoalbus ss. Moell.) Is a leaf fungus from the family of snail relatives (Hygrophoraceae). The quite rare mushroom has numerous names, such as B. Gelbschülferiger sapling , yellow-leaved felt sapling , tender sapling , because of its smell also garlic-sapling .
The inedible mushroom has an orange-yellow to scarlet-red, shiny, scaly or bald, somewhat wrinkled and often dented hat with a diameter of 1 to 3 cm.
Occurrence
Mixed forest , bog soil , on damp, mossy or grassy areas, summer to autumn.
