Knut Hartwig (born September 16, 1891 ; † February 12, 1977 ) was a German actor and voice actor .

Life

Hartwig began his acting career at the theater, where he found work again and again - for example at the Oldenburg State Theater and after the end of the war in the theater club in the British Center Berlin.

In addition, since his debut in the film Ich für dich - Du für mich in the role of a settler and his participation as landowner in the film Glückspilze, made in 1934, he has been a busy actor in German talkies. Hartwig appeared almost exclusively in supporting roles, but was present in the character field in numerous large film productions of his time.
