Knut Koch

Knut Koch (born July 28, 1941 in Goldap , East Prussia ) is a German actor and author .

Life

Koch went to the High School for Otto Falkenberg School and was followed two years as assistant director of Fritz Kortner operates. He made his debut under his direction at the Vienna Burgtheater and from there moved to the young Bremen theater . After a few years in Münster as an actor and director , he moved to the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf, later to Munich, Hamburg and Bochum. There he had his first role in Peter Zadek (Horatio).

Since then he has been primarily freelance and mostly in collaboration with Zadek. After cellist Christoph Philipp died from cancer at an early age , Koch got involved with children in need and produced a music film that premiered in 2014 at the Haus der Berliner Festspiele under the title Little heart of Berlin .

He lives in Berlin and Brittany .
