Rolf Bösinger

Rolf Bösinger (born January 26, 1966 in St. Georgen in the Black Forest ) is a German economist and political official ( SPD ). He has been State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Finance since March 2018 . Before that, from 2015 onwards, he was State Councilor for Economy and Innovation in the Authority for Economy, Transport and Innovation of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg .

Life

After graduating from high school (1985), Bösinger studied economics at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg between 1986 and 1991 , was a lecturer in mathematics at the Lörrach University of Cooperative Education from 1990 to 1991 and received his doctorate in 1997 on the subject of "Reorganization of the federal financial equalization system 1995".

This was followed by positions as head of the policy department for economic and financial policy, corporate investments of the state of the Saarland State Chancellery (1997-2000), head of the department for politics, coordination and target groups at the SPD party executive (2002-2005) and head of the management and planning staff (2005 –2008), the Department of Fundamental Issues, Pension Finances, Innovation and Information (2008–2010) and the group “Company-related activities in a future-oriented world of work - Corporate Social Responsibility” (2011–2012) at the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs . From 2012 until his appointment to the State Council, the economist was head of the planning team at the Senate Chancellery of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg .

April 17, 2015. Rolf Bösinger by Senator Frank Horch to State Council for the field of Economy and Innovation of the Ministry of Economics, Transport and Innovation in the Senate Scholz II appointed, a post that until his appointment as Secretary of State to he Ministry of Finance after Berlin on March 14, 2018.

He has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Telekom AG since June 1, 2018
