The glacial glacial shaped hanging valley Chapel boiler ( Polish Kościelcowy Kocioł ) is a Karkessel, the south of the valley Dolina Czarna Gąsienicowa , which in turn is a tributary of the valley of the Seealmer dry stream ( Dolina Suchej Wody gąsienicowej is) in the Polish Tatras in the Lesser Poland lies. It lies below the peaks of the Rear Polish Chapel ( Zadni Kościelec ) and the Polish Chapel ( Kościelec ), about 200 meters above the Polish Black Lake ( arny Staw Gąsienicowy ).
geography
The basin has a diameter of several hundred meters and is surrounded by mountains over 2200 meters high, especially the Kościelec massif . The black marked hiking trail to Kościelec is located above the basin.
etymology
The Polish name is derived, like the German, from the mountain Kościelec. It can be translated as Kessel des Kirchenberg or Kirchenberg Kessel .
Flora and fauna
The valley lies above the tree line. The valley is a retreat for chamois, marmots and golden eagles.

There is a high mountain climate in the valley.
tourism
There are no hiking trails in the valley, it is not accessible to hikers.
Two climbing routes lead from the mountain lake Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy into the valley:
- Kochańczyk route (UIAA difficulty level II),
- Klis route (IV difficulty level of the UIAA)
