Koba Jass (born May 4, 1990 in Riga ) is a Latvian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Kaszink-Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk in the Vysschaja Hockey League since 2011 . His brother Māris Jass and his cousin Mareks Jass are also professional ice hockey players.

Career

Koba Jass began his career as an ice hockey player at ASK / Ogre , for whose professional team he was active in the Latvian ice hockey league and the Belarusian extra league from 2007 to 2009 . The winger spent the 2009/10 season at Dinamo Juniors Riga , for which he also played in Latvia and Belarus in parallel. With the Dinamo Juniors he won the Latvian championship title . He was able to repeat this success in the following season with HK Liepājas Metalurgs , for which he also competed in the Belarusian extra league.

For the 2011/12 season Jass was committed by Kaszink-Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk from the Wysschaja Hockey League . At the same time he joined the second team in the Kazakh ice hockey championship .

International

For Latvia , Jass took part in the U20 World Junior Championship in 2009 and the World Championship in 2012 .
