The Kolich Point is a rocky headland on the Scott Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is halfway between Spike Cape and Gneiss Point on the shores of the Bay of Sails .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1976 after the geophysicist Thomas M. Kolich, who carried out investigations on the Ross Ice Shelf in two consecutive summer campaigns between 1973 and 1975 as part of the United States Antarctic Research Program .
