The building at Kolpingstrasse 16 in Sontheim is a protected cultural monument .

description

The house is a gable-independent , two-story brick building with a crooked hip roof . The facade is structured mirror-symmetrically by window axes. The twin windows each consist of tall, rectangular windows. These are summarized by a common segment arch in colored, contrasting exposed brickwork as the window crown. The cladding of the twin windows as well as the flat bosses on the window reveal and the corner blocks on the corners of the building are made of sandstone . Further horizontal cornices are shown in the colored, contrasting exposed brickwork.

The building served as an apartment for the workers and employees of the Ackermann twisting mill .
