Local elections in Brandenburg in 2003

The municipal elections in Brandenburg in 2003 took place on Sunday, October 26, 2003.

The representatives for district councils , city councils of the independent cities and municipal councils or city councils of the cities and municipalities belonging to the district were elected.

The election resulted in massive losses for the SPD and significant losses for the CDU. The extreme decline in voter turnout was striking.
