Konami Soga (born April 9, 1995 in Tokyo ) is a Japanese speed skater .

Career

Soga started the World Cup for the first time in Heerenveen in November 2017 and finished seventh and sixth in the B group, each over 500 m. At the beginning of the 2018/19 season in Obihiro she achieved her first podium finish in the World Cup with second place in the team sprint and her first World Cup victory in the team sprint in Tomaszów Mazowiecki . At the individual distance world championships in Inzell in 2019 , she won the bronze medal over 500 m. She finished the season in eighth place in the overall world cup over 500 m.
