The Konrad-Adenauer-Gymnasium (KAG Kleve) is a high school in Kleve . It is named after the first Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany , Konrad Adenauer .

It was founded in 1969 as a modern language and mathematics and natural science high school. In 1985 all-day operation was introduced. This makes the Konrad-Adenauer-Gymnasium the only all-day high school in the region. Another special feature has been the existence of a Montessori branch since the 2013/14 school year , in which the Maria Montessori educational concept is to be implemented. The grammar school has a side entry class for language support for children whose mother tongue is not German . It also provides shared learning in the sense of inclusive pedagogy to where children with special educational taught need for support together with children without such. The school was named the first Fairtrade school in the Kleve district in December 2017. The Konrad-Adenauer-Gymnasium is classified as a MINT- friendly school, in which the subjects mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology are to be particularly promoted. Exchange programs exist with schools in Nijmegen ( Netherlands ), Vaggeryd ( Sweden ), Worcester ( United Kingdom ), Nueva Esperanza ( El Salvador ), Tianjin ( People's Republic of China ) and Rabat ( Morocco ).

The school's advanced biology course developed a climate protection sticker in 2015.
