Vaggeryd is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province Jonkopings and the historical province of Småland .

The place, which belongs to the municipality of the same name and is one of the two main places, is located about 30 kilometers south of Jönköping on the European route E4 and is an important industrial location .

Vaggeryd has a train station on the Halmstad – Nässjö and Vaggeryd – Jönköping lines .

Vaggeryd also has a harness racing track.
