Konrad Post

Konrad Post (also Posthius ; born March 1, 1613 in Herborn , † June 10, 1669 in Herborn) was a German Reformed clergyman.

He was the son of Johann Dietrich Post and his wife Katharina nee Klonck. Konrad Post was married from 1633 to Anna Magdalena Hoffmann from Herborn, who died in 1673.

From 1621 to 1628 post was on the pedagogy in Herborn; from 1629 he completed a study of law, then theology at the high school in Herborn . In 1633 he was high school master (head) of the Latin school in Dillenburg and in 1634/35 deacon in Dillenburg . From 1635 to 1638 he was employed as a pastor in Burbach (Siegerland) , then he became second pastor in Herborn and professor of the Hebrew language at the high school. From 1646 until his death Konrad Post was the first pastor in Herborn.
