Konrad Straub

Konrad Straub (* 1938 near Zurich , Switzerland ) became known as a radio journalist and speaker on gospel radio . He is also the author of Christian radio plays and books and a pastor .

Life

Konrad Straub was born near Zurich. After having learned his trade as a bookbinder and actor, he began working for Evangeliums-Rundfunk in Wetzlar in 1967 . Here he worked until 1995 as a radio journalist, editor, author, speaker and director. Over the decades he has become one of the station's most famous voices and has appeared in numerous guest roles in successful Christian radio play series such as 5 Siblings , Adventure Between Heaven and Earth, Wild West Adventure, Die 3 vom Ast or Ole the Pirate by authors such as Günter Schmitz , Hanno Herzler and Eckart to the Nieden . He also worked as a spokesman for musical works of art such as Siegfried Fietz 's Paulus Oratorio or children's music programs by Margret Birkenfeld .

Straub is married and has four grown children. Since 2003 he has been a freelance speaker at the interdenominational Bible Conference Center Langensteinbacher Höhe , where he leads the pastoral service.
