Konrad Wilhelm Strecker

Konrad Wilhelm Strecker (born April 18, 1690 in Kirchworbis ; † 1765 in Erfurt ) was a German lawyer .

Strecker studied law in Mainz from 1708 (1709?) And successfully graduated from the University of Erfurt with a doctorate in 1717 . There, Strecker got a teaching position and the title of aoProf. of jurisprudence .

In 1721, Strecker was appointed as an assessor at the Mainz City Court and as such he became council chamberlain the following year. In 1729 the law faculty of the University of Erfurt chose Strecker as its assessor, whose oldest assessor (an honorary title) he became in 1735.

In 1733, Strecker was appointed syndic and after only a short time adviser to guardianship. On the occasion of his 50th birthday, at the suggestion of the city of Mainz, he was awarded the title of real councilor of the Elector of Mainz .

At the age of around 75, the lawyer Prof. Konrad Wilhelm Strecker died in Erfurt in 1765.
