Konrad von Goßler (administrative lawyer)

Karl Ferdinand Konrad von Goßler , also von Goßler-Zichtau (born October 16, 1841 in Berlin , † November 19, 1900 in Zichtau ) was a German lawyer , manor owner and district administrator .

Life

Origin and family

Konrad von Goßler was a son of the Real Secret Council and Minister of State Albert von Goßler and Auguste Friederike Wilhelmine Luise von Lamprecht (1821–1887). He came from the Goßler family . His brother was the Prussian Lieutenant General Martin von Goßler (1843–1898).

He married Elisabeth Ernestine Rabe von Pappenheim (* 1853) in Weimar in 1876 . The marriage resulted in six children, including Konrad von Goßler (1881–1939, later General of the Cavalry ).

Career

He studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1862 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1869 to 1873 he completed the government traineeship with the government in Erfurt . From this point on, he also temporarily represented District Administrator Friedrich von Gerlach in the District Office Gardelegen, which belonged to the administrative district of Magdeburg . In 1873 he passed the government assessor exam.

Around 1877 he was a deputy in the district council of Magdeburg, was district deputy and district council member of the district of Gardelegen. From 1892; as successor to District Administrator Friedrich von Gerlach; he was then district administrator of the district of Gardelegen until 1894 .

Konrad von Goßler inherited the Zichtau estate from his father , on which he lived until his death.
