Konstantin Nikolajewitsch Glawatskich ( Russian Константин Николаевич Главатских ; born April 16, 1985 in Kes , Udmurt ASSR ) is a Russian cross-country skier .

Career

Glawatskich has mainly participated in the Eastern Europe Cup since 2007 . He has had three wins so far and finished second in the overall standings in the 2009/10 and 2014/15 seasons. In February 2009 he won the bronze medal at the Winter Universiade in Yabuli over 10 km freestyle and sprint and the gold medal with the relay. He ran his first World Cup race in January 2010 in Rybinsk , which he finished with a strong fifth place and thus also won his first World Cup points. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 2011 , he finished 29th in the 50 km mass start race. In the 2011/12 season he was in the top ten five times in seven individual World Cup races. In February 2012 in Nove Mesto he took second place in the relay, his first and so far only podium in the World Cup. He finished the season with 39th place in the overall ranking and 21st place in the distance ranking. He finished the Tour de Ski 2012/13 and Tour de Ski 2013/14 in 36th and 23rd place in the overall standings. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , he reached 38th place in the 50 km mass start race. At the Tour de Ski 2016 , he finished 48th. In March 2017 he finished second and in March 2019 first in the Demino Ski Marathon .
