Konstantin Gottlieb Knauth

Konstantin Gottlieb Knauth (born August 28, 1814 in Königsberg i. Pr .; † 1864 ) was a German doctor and member of parliament in East Prussia.

Life

Knauth attended the Royal Lyck High School . After graduating from high school, he studied medicine at the Albertus University in Königsberg . In the summer semester of 1832 he became active in the Corps Masovia with Otto Hesse and Ernst Hahnrieder . The Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Berlin doctorate him in 1837 to Dr. med. He practiced as a doctor in Ruß , Heydekrug district . Later he settled in Memel . He died at the age of 50.

Knauth was a member of the Prussian National Assembly from 1848. In the 1st electoral period of 1849 he represented the constituency of Königsberg in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction left.
