Career
Konstantin Panow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the HK Tractor Chelyabinsk , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Super League in the 1997/98 season . The winger then played for the Kamloops Blazers in the Canadian Junior Western Hockey League for three years . During this period he was selected in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft in the fifth round as a total of 131 players by the Nashville Predators . From 2001 to 2003, however, he played exclusively for Nashville's farm teams , the Milwaukee Admirals from the American Hockey League and the Toledo Storm from the ECHL .
For the 2003/04 season Panov returned to Russia and signed a contract with Amur Khabarovsk from the Super League. After a year he left the team again and joined his hometown club HK Traktor Chelyabinsk, which in the meantime had been relegated to the second-rate Vysschaya League . As a second division champion, he rose with the team in the 2005/06 season in the Super League, but moved within the Super League to HK Lada Tolyatti . At HK Lada he was under contract in the following three and a half years, initially in the super league and from the 2008/09 season in the newly founded Continental Hockey League . During the 2009/10 season , the left-shooter was signed by HK Dynamo Moscow .
After HK Dynamo Moscow merged with HK MWD Balaschicha in 2010 , he went to SKA Saint Petersburg for the 2010/11 season . After a year with the Army Club, he returned to his hometown club in June 2011.
Since July 2015 Panow has been under contract with HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk .
