Constructive tendencies

The artist group constructive tendencies is an association of constructive- concrete working artists.

The group was founded in 1983 and has since organized numerous joint exhibitions at various institutions at home and abroad. The founding member and nestor of the constructive tendencies was the graphic designer Anton Stankowski , who took an active part in the group's activities until his death in 1998.

In the mid-1980s, the following artists were members of the group: Klaus Basset, Rolf Bodenseh , Karl Duschk , Karl-Heinz Franke , Hans Geipel, Rainer Holzapfel, Waltraut Huth-Rössler, Herbert W. Kapitzki, Frieder Kühner, Horst Kuhnert , Günter Neusel , Christa Roesner-Drenhaus, Max Schmitz , Peter Staechelin , Anton Stankowski , Herbert Volz , Hermann Waibel and Heinz Witthoeft.
