Rolf Bodenseh (* 1941 in Tübingen ) is a German sculptor .

life and work

Rolf Bodenseh studied sculpture from 1959 to 1964 under Professors Peter Otto Heim and Rudolf Hoflehner at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart . With a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), he then studied in Greece from 1964 to 1965 .

He was a member of the artist group Constructive Tendencies of Constructivism, founded in 1983 .

The artist lives and works in Aichtal in Baden-Württemberg . He initially worked with steel , created light kinetic effects and switched to other materials around 1978, such as sandstone , marble , granite and slate .

In addition to his works in public spaces , he also created works for church buildings.
