Outside space

Blaibach concert hall

The facade consists of individually assembled granite stones and is reminiscent of Blaibach's roots as a stone farming village. The sloping topography of the center of the village is exploited by digging the concert hall into the earth like a tilted cube.

inner space

Blaibach concert hall, interior

The concert hall offers space for 200 listeners and up to 60 musicians can be accommodated on the stage. The interior design is characterized by light glass concrete , which ensures excellent acoustics. The ancillary rooms are arranged in the basement under the square of the new town center. In the concert hall, cantilevered glass concrete elements in various inclinations ensure fine acoustics. Depth absorbers and lighting are installed in the wall slots and under the rows of chairs.
