Kopatschiw ( Ukrainian Копачів ; Russian Копачов Kopatschow , Polish Kopaczów ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 450 inhabitants.
Kopatschiw was mentioned in writing in the year 1000 for the first time in the western part of Rajon Obukhiv near the river Rakiwka, about 10 kilometers west of Rajonzentrum Obukhiv and 38 kilometers south of the Oblasthauptstadt Kiev area.
The villages of Sastuhna ( Застугна ) and Shevchenkoe ( Шевченкове ) also belong to the district council of the same name , whose administrative center is the village .
