The Koppelwiesen are a former nature reserve in the Lower Saxon town of Haselünne in the Emsland district .

The nature reserve with the registration number NSG WE 015 was around 127  hectares in size. Most of it was part of the FFH area “Lower Haseniederung”. The area has been under nature protection since December 2, 1989. The "Hudener Moor" nature reserve, which was designated on July 5, 1937, was absorbed into it. On July 1, 2017, the newly designated nature reserve " Natura 2000 nature reserve in the lower Haseniederung " opened up. The responsible lower nature conservation authority was the district of Emsland.

The former nature reserve is located west of Haselünne and in parts borders directly on the residential development. It turned a wetland complex under protection, to which swamp - and Moor connect areas. Here you can find some swamp forests . In the former nature reserve there are several still waters , some of which are silting up.

The wet meadows are mainly farmed extensively as grassland . In the south, the former nature reserve borders the Hammer Sand, a wooded dune area . In the west, the former “Hudener Moor” nature reserve was integrated into the “Koppelwiesen” nature reserve. The moor drains over the school grave ditch to the Hase .
