The Koráb is a 773 m high mountain in the Schwihauer hill country in the Czech Republic . It is located in Okres Domažlice three kilometers east of the city of Kdyně ( Neugedein ). and is part of the ridge that surrounds the city in the north and east. The Špandava, which adjoins the ridge to the southeast, overlooks it slightly with 774 m.

Because of the good view of the Kdyně Valley, the Czechoslovak Tourist Club KČT had plans to build a lookout tower on the mountain since 1902, which were only implemented in 1936. The 21 m high wooden beam construction with five platforms next to which a hut was built, inaugurated in 1938, was covered with wood in 1948 to protect against weather damage and the viewing gallery was roofed over. By the mid-1980s, the state of construction had deteriorated so much that the tower had to be removed.

On August 15, 1992, a new iron tower 50 m high was inaugurated, which has a viewing platform at 30 m, to which 144 steps lead up.

The tower and the hut can be reached via a paved road that branches off the Kdyně - Mezholezy road. There are also several hiking trails from Branišov and Kdyně up the mountain.

To the northwest lie the remains of the castles Nový Herštejn (New Hirschstein) and Příkopy (Old Riesenberg).
