Koreasat 7 (Mugungwha 7) is a commercial communications satellite owned by the Korean operator KT Sat , a subsidiary of Korea Telecom . He was born on May 4, 2017 at 19:50 UTC with a 5 Ariane - carrier rocket from the rocket launch site Guiana Space Center (along with sgdc ) into a geostationary brought orbit.
