The Korgon-comb ( Russian Коргонский хребет ) is a mountain range in the Altai region and in the Republic of Altai ( Russia ) in the northwestern Altai Mountains .
The Korgon comb extends north of the upper Tscharysch -Tals over a length of 100 km in east-west direction. The summit heights are 2200 m . The Korgon ridge reaches a maximum height of 2488 m . The river valleys of Korgon and Kumir , both left tributaries of the Charysch, cut through the mountain range in deep gorges. The Korgon ridge consists mainly of tuff , sandstone and mica schist .
