Rüggeberg grain box
The Rüggeberg grain bin is a listed grain or oat bin in the Ennepetal district of Rüggeberg . It is dated to the year 1717.
description
The granary is located on Hesterberger Straße on the outskirts of Rüggeberg. Is the location but not the original, as the building in the 1960s by the Schnabeler way to this spot translocated was.
The building was erected as a two-storey frame construction from coarse wood with tenon joints . It has a brick gable roof and is on the ridge and on the Ortgangseiten verschiefert . Access to the attic is via an external staircase on the west gable side .
Next to the granary is the old Rüggeberg cemetery , which is also a listed building .
In August 2013, the granary was dismantled into its individual parts for restoration.
