history
Korongo Airlines was founded in 2009 after previously abandoning a similar project under the name airDC . It is 35.7% owned by the Lufthansa subsidiary Brussels Airlines and Congolese investors, including George Forrest International, and finally started flight operations on April 16, 2012. On August 19, 2015, Korongo Airlines ceased flight operations.
Destinations
Korongo Airlines flew domestically from Lubumbashi to Kinshasa and Mbuji-Mayi Airport as well as to Johannesburg in South Africa . In Kinshasa there was a connection to the long-haul flights of the parent company Brussels Airlines to Brussels
