Koskullskulle Allmänna Idrottsförening ( Koskullskulle AIF for short ) is a Swedish winter sports club from Koskullskulle .

history

The club was founded in 1919 as a pure winter sports club. Between 1970 and 1990 the club was a center of ski jumping in Sweden. Between 1975 and 1989 the club won the Swedish team championships in ski jumping. The club was successful in Nordic combined as early as 1963. Over the years, jumpers of the club have also been successful in individual jumping. The best- known member of the club is Jan Boklöv , who won a total of eight titles on the normal and large hill between 1985 and 1990 and is responsible for the development of the V-style in ski jumping, which replaced the parallel style around 1990. The club's last successful jumper was Mikael Martinsson , who also won eight national titles between 1991 and 1995 and made a successful start in the World Cup and the 1992 and 1994 Winter Olympics .

The association looks after the Frejabacken in Koskullskulle , which was built in 1929 and converted in 1970 and 1976 .

The club now also has a football department that plays in the lower Swedish leagues.
