Bohumil Kosour

Bohumil Kosour (born March 5, 1913 in Nové Město na Moravě , † April 24, 1997 ) was a Czechoslovakian skier.

Kosour was at the Olympic Winter Games 1936 as a soldier participant of the Czechoslovak team in the military patrol run and achieved eighth place together with Karel Šteiner , Josef Mateasko and Bohuslav Musil . He also took part in the 1948 Winter Olympics, except for 18 km cross-country skiing, where he also started in the Nordic Combined .

Among other things, he won the Golden Ski race between 1939 and 1942 and 1949 , a cross-country skiing race that has been held in his hometown since 1934 .
