The Castellón Power Plant ( Spanish Central térmica de Castellón ) is a gas and steam combined cycle power plant in the municipality of Castellón de la Plana , Province of Castellón , Spain . The installed capacity of the power plant is 1647 (or 1655) MW . It is owned and operated by Iberdrola Generacion SA . The power plant went into operation with the first unit in 1972; the combined cycle power plant was commissioned with the first unit in 2002.

The power plant currently consists of two blocks that went into operation in 2002 and 2008. The following table gives an overview:
