The Sagunto Power Plant ( Spanish Central térmica de Sagunto ) is a combined cycle gas and steam power plant in the port of Sagunto , Valencia Province , Spain . The installed capacity of the power plant is 1200 (or 1212) MW . It is owned by Naturgy and operated by Naturgy. The power plant went into operation in 2007.

The power plant serves to cover the base and medium loads . 2.6 billion kWh were produced in 2018 . The electricity generated is carried over a 400 kV line to the substation in Morvedre. The cost of erecting the power plant is given as € 478 (or 500) million.
