The power plant Turceni is a coal power plant in Turceni , Gorj County , Romania . It is owned and operated by Complexul Energetic Oltenia (CEO) and also operated by CEO.

The power plant consisted of a total of 7 units that went into operation from 1978 to 1987. The following table gives an overview:

After the shutdown of three units, the power plant still has an installed capacity of 1,320 MW . Blocks 3 to 6 have been retrofitted with flue gas desulphurisation systems.
