The Krakken (Norwegian for stool ) is a mountain in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It rises 1.5 km north of the Sandset and immediately northwest of Gneysovaya Peak in the western Petermann chain of the Wohlthat massif .

It was discovered and mapped using aerial photographs during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher . Further mapping was carried out on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements by the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960), whose participants also carried out the descriptive naming.
