The Kramersdorf-Haus ( English Kramersdorf Building ), better known as Scultetusheim , is a historic residential building and former boarding school in the Namibian coastal town of Swakopmund .
It has been a National Monument of Namibia since December 3rd, 1977 .
The building was designed and built in 1912 by Friedrich Kramer , a leading employee of Woermann & Brock , as his own residence. In 1932 it was taken over by Major Oskar Scultetus and set up as a boarding school. Afterwards it belonged to the South West Africa Company under the name Jubilee House . The Kramersdorf-Haus / Scultetusheim is currently (as of March 2020) in private ownership.
The Swakopmund-Kramersdorf district is named after Kramer today .
