The Way of the Cross in the cemetery wall is located in the city cemetery outside the Marienkirche in Lauda in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg . The Way of the Cross is a listed building .

history

The stations of the cross date from around 1730. The 14 stations of the cross was built by Georg Winterstein in 1782. In 1988 the high baroque Way of the Cross was restored on the initiative of the Lauda Heimat- und Kulturverein with the support of the City of Lauda and the State Monuments Office of Baden-Württemberg , as the yellow sandstone was badly damaged by weather and environmental influences.
