War memorial large sphere
The Großkugel war memorial is a listed war memorial in the Großkugel district of the Kabelsketal municipality in Saxony-Anhalt . In local monument directory the war memorial is below the detection number 094 55137 as a small monument listed.
The war memorial in Großkugel is located south of the extinguishing water pond . The memorial is shaped like a tombstone with two small steles on the side. The whole monument is surrounded by a fence and was erected for those who fell in the First World War . There is a plaque on the central stone with an iron cross and oak leaves . Below is the inscription 1914 - 1918 fell and the 22 names of the fallen soldiers.
