The war memorial Piethen is a listed war memorial in the Piethen district of the city of Southern Anhalt in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments it is recorded as a monument with registration number 094 70220 .

The war memorial in Piethen near the church

The war memorial in Piethen is north of the town's church on the cemetery grounds. It is a stele , on a multi-tiered base , in memory of the fallen of the First World War . The stele contains an inscription and the names of the fallen soldiers. Above the inscription there is a relief of a soldier's helmet . The Piethen memorial stone is in the immediate vicinity .
