Kristen Fløgstad

Kristen Fløgstad (born April 11, 1947 in Lunde , Telemark ) is a former Norwegian long and triple jumper .

In the triple jump he was eleventh at the European Athletics Championships in Athens in 1969 . In 1971 he retired from qualifying at the European Championships in Helsinki . At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich he came in eighth, at the European Indoor Athletics Championships in 1973 in Rotterdam on the fifth and at the 1974 European Championships in Rome on 14th place.

Ten times he was Norwegian champion in the triple jump (1968, 1970, 1971, 1973–1976, 1979, 1980, 1982) and six times in the long jump (1967, 1968, 1973, 1975–1977). In the hall he won the national title in the triple jump seven times (1968, 1970–1973, 1975, 1980) and four times in the long jump (1968, 1973, 1975, 1976). In 1968 and 1971 he was Swedish indoor champion in triple jump and 1968 in long jump. In 1976 he became Danish indoor champion in long and triple jump.
